Over the past few
months Saddleworth rotaract has hosted various events. We had an Italian meal
at the Bella Collina in Uppermill, which was thoroughly enjoyed, giving one of
our best attendances recently. We have also been ice-skating, which was fun
despite leaving everyone cold and bruised.
We were represented
by a small group at both Saddleworth Rotary’s Charter Night in mid January, and
Warrington Rotaract’s Charter Night later in the month.
Our best event of
the past few months surely has to be February’s Pub of the Month. Held at the
Church Inn in Uppermill, both Saddleworth and Rochdale rotaract came to this
event. Large quantities of beer were consumed, and a great night was had by
all. A collaboration that will hopefully be repeated soon.
